She has had PE before and I personally hope that her and Jim Bob realize they are blessed with as many children as they are and find the religious reasoning they need to stop having babies. They haven't had to deal with a preemie until now and of course I truly hope and pray that baby Josie is fine...but...that she is the final child for them. IMO this is a sign that her body can't hold out much longer with this many pregnancies.

While I hate any that woman and baby have to go through this *, I really hope the Duggar's popularity will bring more focus to this disease. I am disgusted by the news articles that insinuate that her pre-eclampsia is a result of the number of children she has. I think our membership shows that it can happen with any number child.

I just really don't think it's my business how many kids someone has if they can take care of them. I hope they are all happy and healthy however many kids they have. That said knowing the background they are coming from I'd seriously doubt this will change their views on trusting God.

I personally think my health can no longer handle more children without it being a real stress on my body. I'm impressed Michelle has managed to have so many healthy pregnancies. But, yeah, it's absurd IMO to blame the preeclampsia on how many children she's had. If her having so many children was the cause I'd wager she would have had this happen in oh maybe the last 10-12 pregnancies!
