Preeclampsia in VOGUE!!!

An article was featured in the October 2004 issue of Vogue magazine. The woman/mother who was interviewed in the segment on the Today show about the new test shares her story. She was also on the Today show in 2003. I picked up the magazine at my local library not even knowing that this article was in there. It was quite a surprise to see this in an "unlikely" place, a fashion magazine. Now hopefully, there will be more awareness and education in other magazines like this widespread.

Rebecca Johnson (the subject of the story) is a member of our group and she is an editor for Vogue. She lost her first baby due to preeclampsia caused prematurity--she is a strong advocate!!

I hope that put info about preclampsia in more mags. I remember reading about it in cosmo or glamour or one of those types yearssss ago when it was called toxima.
