It is a pretty neat idea, actually. Our blood vessels in the placenta and attaching the placenta are not great- the viagra helps the blood vessels work better and helps increase the blood flow to baby, making bigger babies.

Helping encourage "blood flow" to targeted areas is how it works in it's other incarnation as well, so I guess it stands to reason...

Yeah, it makes sense. I can just see someone's face when I tell them I'm taking Viagra. ;-) It's great to see some development of the possibilities for decreasing PE.

I just got this Google alert myself. I just had to hop on here and see everyone's reactions! It's intriguing, to say the least! The more I think about it, the more it makes sense. (And, heck, won't the dh's be happy with possible OTHER results stemming from it??) ;)

Hey, you never know...products developed for one purpose often have much greater effects for other purposes. Look at that lotion from the cosmetics company that works as an insect repellant...or the anti-nausea drug that is a great antihistamine (or vice versa).

Dear heavens!! I'm married to a man who doesn't find the pregnant form very attractive KWIM? I can't imagine how I'd have made it through nine months if I'd had to contend with Viagra-driven impulses [;)]. I guess I'd have had to ask my peri to prescribe triple, me and DH (double dose [:D][}:)].
