Finah,

I am so sorry for the loss of your precious baby, Austin. I know our members have been told different things; my own OB told me that it wasn't her business and she would handle whatever we decided. I had a classical (vertical) incision and waited two cycles before ttc - and it took another five months to get pregnant.

Our best advice is to rule out any underlying disorders that may predispose you to preeclampsia and find a good high risk OB or perinatoligist to oversee your care.

How soon after?

Postby fionahk » Wed Jan 16, 2008 01:20 am

I was advised not to try for another baby for at least a year. My husband and I don't want to try too soon mainly because we want to fully get over the trauma of losing our first baby. I would like to know what other people's experiences are.

Thanks
