As long as it's just water, it should drop off even if you get pregnant. If it's cookies and ice cream, you're out of luck. ;)

Does that happen if you get pg? Or does the weight stay on? I'll be on Lupron until July 7th, the day before txf.

But it's so much fun to watch the extra weight magically disappear when you stop the Lupron! :)

Thanks, Taras Mom. Praying that I don't retain too much more water. I can't even step on the scale now...too heartbreaking!

I was on it three times. Each time I had some water retention, so my bp and weight went up a little (2-3 pounds and a small but noticeable increase in bp). Each time, the weight and bp were back to normal about a week after I stopped the Lupron. I also felt a bit more stressed than usual, but there's no way to know whether it was the Lupron or just the stress of IVF. All in all, not bad; just make sure you take your meds and check your pressures if you're being treated for bp.

I've taken Lupron bunch of times and have never had any side effects from it at all.

Here, here, Griffin! :-) Thank you so much! Anyone else have any good experiences on Lupron?

I would think so - I had a friend who was on it multiple times and she was a little cranky but it seemed like the clomid made her more moody than the lupron.

Just remember though, it's only for a period of time, not forever and you can always just go to bed (since you won't be having to teach) and go to sleep if you have to! (That's what I do when I'm sad or angry sometimes!) :)

Here's to a very successful next 8 weeks or so!
