I am finally home. I met with my new ob/gyn this am. I had a checkup in Jan, so this was just a get-to-know-you visit. He was really good. I had a list of questions a mile long and he answered every one of them. He has handled lots of pe cases, so I am comfie with that. He gave me an "official" diagnosis, severe PE with early onset of HELLP. He was so patient and double checked just to make sure that I was completely satisfied, when I said I was he said that he had more time if I needed it. WOW! SO I really liked him. He is very nice and told me that he understood it was my pregnancy and that he would do everything he could to let me make the decisions. He said whatever I wanted to do was fine as long as it was healthy for me and the baby. He even said that my hubby could "deliver" the baby even though lawyers frown at that. He gave me about a 25-35% chance of reoccurence. He also said that he would not have done anything differently last time (that made me feel a ton better). He also put me on some prenatal vitamins that have the fatty acids or whatever in them, said that was extremely good for you. He then gave me lots of free samples. Oh yeah and he said that any time I wanted to pop in and hear the heartbeat, check my bp,or whatever it was fine. They have an open door policy. He would rather I came in and be able to relax about it then to sit at home and worry. He was just GREAT! It was just a great visit and I am VERY satisfied. In ways I can not wait to have a baby just because I know he will be wonderful!
[:D][:D][:D][:D] Thank you so much to all of you for all of your encouragement. Sorry if I rambled I am just so excited to have found a good doctor!
