Small bit of hope

I finally had my peri consult today. It looks like I have Antiphospholipid syndrome, and the peri is recommending baby aspirin and heparin for the next pregnancy. The good news is that - (1) we have the green light to TTC and (2) the peri put our chances of a successful outcome at 70-80% with medication! This of course does not mean 70-80 % chance of no PE, just that the meds should keep the PE at bay long enough to deliver a (hopefully) healthy baby, even if it means only going to 32-34 weeks.

So - here we go. Even with all of our contimuing sadness at losing Amelia, it really helps to know we can try again. Sending good vibes to everyone!

I'm so glad that you may have gotten some answers. It is wonderful news that you have the TTC greenlight and, are looking at good odds with proper treatment.

So, does this mean yall are going to start TTC soon? For me it was exciting to be able to try but, terrifying at the same time. Just know that we will all be here for you.

Glad now you have the answers.... TTC after a loss was one of the hardest things I went thru. I had to tell myself over and over again it was ok. Then we get did get preg I was in shock and the all of the sudden the fears set in.

Each preg is different and it's hard after a loss but hang in there. We are all here for you!!!

That is wonderful news, I am waiting for the final ok too (my OB said ok, but meeting with a peri soon to make sure no other tests should be run). After a loss and the PE, this becomes so scary. So glad you have a dr that is going to be on top of things. Can't wait to see your +++!!!!

Congradulations!! That's great!! I have lupus anticoagulant so with my next pregnancy I also will be on the lovenox injections. My husband and I will hopefully soon be scheduling an apt with the Peri so, hopefully we too can get a greenlight to try again. Im so happy for you! I cant imagine the excitement yet the nervousness you must be feeling! Hang in there! Keep your head up and good luck!
