Some hope for those of you TTC

My last pregnancy my symptoms started around 25 weeks with the flu feeling, and by 28 weeks my BP was high with swelling that was CRAZY!

I am 28 weeks tomorrow...no signs of PE at all! Bp 107/72!

There is hope! ANNND I even have underlying condition...Factor V! Just wanted to let you ladies know you can do this!

yeah!! i can add to that as well. I had a very similar experience as you starting around 28weeks and delivered a small one at 33 wks who is now 3.5 and anxiuously awaiting his baby sis and here i am at 33 wks and doing great! PE free and hoping for a full term babe in feb!

Thought I would join in- had HELLP and delivered at 34 1/2 weeks with my daughter. This time, I will be 39 weeks on Tuesday and have c-section scheduled for that same day. A little creeping of blood pressure last few weeks- but not where anyone was worried. I maintained low BPs 100/60 for most of pregnancy until last month or so where they creeped to 120s/70s and 130s/70s last 2 weeks but no protein, liver issues or platelet issues. It seems impossible when you 1st find out you are pregnant again, but it is possible to get through another pregnancy PE/HELLP free.

Congratulation. I am wondering and is very curious, how long did you guys wait in between pregnancy? I am wondering if the time in between pregnancies have any direct impact on the development or not of Pe?
Did any of you do anything different from the pregnancy with Pe and now this pregnancy with NO PE?
Any new medication....maybe Aspirin, calcium, anything?? New diet? Quitting job? No stress.

I had PE on my two pregnancies and there were 5 years apart. My first was at 27 weeks but I lasted until 33 1/2 weeks and my son is 5 years old now. My second was just in 2010. I was gain diagnosed at 27 weeks and I was in teh hosptal until they decided at 31 weeks that it was time. My baby came healthy at 31 weeks but later died due to NEC after 8 days. I am devastated now and it will be one year since his death this coming 2/1.
I would like to try again soon. All my OB are telling me to wait one year and one year is fast approaching.
So please any advice I get is appreciated.

Just chiming in too: It can be better! It was better! It was great! Thank you for starting a super thread.

PS Clarice: I am sorry for your loss. I don't have any good suggestions/advice excpet to find an MFM who you trust and like and work closely with them. They are the experts. I did take LDA and a BP med all throughout preg#2. But every patient's case and every doctor's opinion is different on the issue. You need somebody to make a plan specifically for you.

Laura - I think of you all the time and wonder how your pregnancy has been going. We've been trying with no luck ... had to take a little break from the forums as I have gotten a little discouraged.

Thank you ALL for giving me a little more hope that it can be done. After we lost Annabelle almost three years ago I truly had NO hope at all.

We are still trying - hoping for a BFP in March.
