Dear Jasmin

I was looking at the grief and loss section and the thing that annoyed women most was the term, i understand. I did not mean that I understood how you felt at the loss of your son. I suppose just that we all want healthy pregnancies and babies. I truly sympathise with you. You are a gifted writer and I wish you well. Regards. Lorna Rose

Dear Jasmin

Thankyou for your reply to my post. I am sorry to see that you lost your beautiful baby due to PE. I wish you all the luck and love in the world with TTCB as truly understand your desire and need to take home a baby. I have good feeling for you as you are so informed and proactive.
When TTC DD I had just turned 33. My cycle had always been irregular if I was slightly overweight. As soon as I lose a few pounds and weigh approx. 14 7lb my cycle is 35 days. I started eating healthy, took pre natal vitamins and agnus castus and used an ovulation kit. When egg symbol showed up , I got busy! I was shocked to see I was pg, I would have thought longer due to my age. I am going to hospital for preconception counselling August. I would be 34 in to 35 years old getting pg. If it doesn't happen within 6 months I will give up and be happy for my beautiful little girl. love to you all

How Long Have You Been TTC?
This coming month will be our first month TTC after PE forced the delivery of our son at 31+4 weeks, now a healthy 16months!!

What Methods Are You Using?
The good old fashioned way, it took us a couple of months with my son so fingers crossed it's a short journey :)

Where are you now in your Cycle?
I am about 10DPO

What's the next step?
Will figure that out if aren't having any luck, but again fingers crossed we'll be ok!!

How Are You Feeling...no really, how are you feeling?
A mixture of excitment and FEAR, as non of friends have been through anything like PE all delivering big fat take home bubbas they kind of don't understant the anxiety that is going along with having another child, we have chosen not to tell any of them what we are doing until a nice big round baby bump appears and all is well, goodluck ladies lets see all those BFP!!

How Long Have You Been TTC?
well, we're not "officially" TTC, but we're not preventing either---let's just say that and it's been about two months

What Methods Are You Using?
nothing at all for now, but not worried yet.

Where are you now in your Cycle?
I think I'm on cycle day 16 or so

What's the next step?
just wait

How Are You Feeling...no really, how are you feeling?
Confused...days I feel like I'm ready for the next pregnancy, at other times I think about it and give myself a panic attack (no, really my heart races and I bet my BP shoots up!) We have our official pre-conception consult with my peri on April 11th. I want my two living babies to grow up together, so I figure it will somewhat be easier than waiting 5 years and then trying again. PLUS, I'll be 33 next monday and I'd like to be done having babies by the time I'm 35.

How Long Have You Been TTC?
I just got the green light from my nephrologist yesterday. So it's a folllow-up with OB and MFM on Thursday to start changing my BP meds to "pregnancy-safe" meds. Hopefully we can start trying within the next 4 weeks.

What Methods Are You Using?
Old-fashioned way ;)

Where are you now in your Cycle?
I think I am due to ovulate later this week, but we will have to let this cycle pass on by.

What's the next step?
Changing from the ACE and ARB blood pressure meds to a calcium channel blocker.

How Are You Feeling...no really, how are you feeling?
Excited that we are finally getting the go ahead to TTC and that the nephrologist feels that there is low risk to my kidneys to go through a pregnancy. BUT, really scared about getting pre-e or HELLP again and really really scared and anxious about the possibility of losing another baby. But I can't just give up without trying again. I hope all of us here can successfully get pregnant and have healthy take home babies!!!

How Long Have You Been TTC?
2 months. With my first, it happened the first month and with my second it was the third month and I am hoping it will be soon because I am way too impatient :)

What Methods Are You Using?
We know approximately when the eggy should be coming down so we increase "the activity" during those days. :D

Where are you now in your Cycle?
6 DPO maybe.

What's the next step?
I have no idea.

How Are You Feeling...no really, how are you feeling?
Frustrated because I swear all my friends are expecting. Angry because I should not be in this TTC boat right now. I should be a super stressed Mom trying to deal with a needy infant and his bossy three year old brother at the same time.

How Long Have You Been TTC?
approx. 1 month (2nd cycle)

What Methods Are You Using?
- the conventional one ;)
I am temping, charting all and everything I possibly can, using a fertility predictor kit (one step up from the opks). The combination of all these things seems to give me a really good picture being right on time.

Where are you now in your Cycle?
CD17 or 4 DPO

What's the next step?
I hope a positive pregnancy test :)
If not, we will TTC for a few more months. I hope that we don't need any fertility treatments, which I found stressful enough last time around.

How Are You Feeling...no really, how are you feeling?
Hopeful and calm, for now.

Me too! I keep stalking the pregnant again forum, excited for and inspired by those girls, but maybe with a slight pang of jealousy. ;)

How Long Have You Been TTC?
1 day

What Methods Are You Using?
Since we've just begun, we're just going to relax and see how it goes.

Where are you now in your Cycle?
Day 2

What's the next step?
If things don't happen the fun way, I'll start temping, charting, use ovulation predictors, etc... I guess! I've never had a problem getting pregnant before, only keeping it. What's different this time is LDA, folic, and possibly heparin once we're preg.

How Are You Feeling...no really, how are you feeling?
I'm hopeful, but apprehensive at times. I keep reminding myself that I've prepared for this as much as possible, and to trust God. He's never put more on me than I could handle.

How Long Have You Been TTC?
not officially trying... I am attempting a preconception preparation so that I will know more about my body and have a better idea for the future.

What Methods Are You Using?
beginning charting, temping...

Where are you now in your Cycle?
I am about 4 DPO, but it could be wrong because I had my first AF and it was not really normal.

What's the next step?
Not really sure, since it happened while I was on BC last time around. I am seeing a hematologist and a peri in the next coming weeks and I feel like that will give me an idea of where to go when we are actively trying.

How Are You Feeling...no really, how are you feeling?
mostly scared... my past pregnancy was easy until it wasn't and then it was all over. I'm so afraid of miscarrying or not being able to carry a baby to viable gestational age. I'm also scared that my body will betray me earlier than it did last time.

How Long Have You Been TTC? Four months...we got pg on the first try with our son, but are not having any luck now :(

What Methods Are You Using?
Trying mucinex, just started charting, have been using OPK's, trying sperm meets egg plan (but seem to never quite make it for all of those times in each cycle)

Where are you now in your Cycle?
I am about 7 DPO (I think)

What's the next step?
I have no clue...I don't know how long I should wait to go back in to see my OB or whomever..

How Are You Feeling...no really, how are you feeling?
Frustrated, depressed, hopeful, and scared. Have been having some joint pain, which scares me. OB did testing-initial ANA was positive, but then further testing came up with nothing...so gave me the green light to try, but I worry about it still..
Our first son was born and passed in Feb of 2010. Born at 29 weeks due to HELLP and passed due to NEC. We miss him every day. :~(

Our second son was born at 39 weeks gestation in Nov of 2011. No HELLP or pre-e! Took LDA starting at week 12 and went off of it at week 38!
