I guess I can officially join this group now. Hubby and I have been bad recently and not been using protection (which he has been adamant about for the past six months basically out of fear because of my vertical incision and being on coumadin) and I called him on it and said... "If I get pregnant you are going to blame me for you not using protection" and he said... "eh, I'm not worried about it". I know that sounds strange, but I got pregnant while being on birth control last time around, so he knows that I could easily get pregnant again and so I take those words to mean... Let's just have fun and see what happens!

Anyways, I am not putting too much hope into getting pregnant any time soon, but hey... it's more of a possibility than it was before.

Yep... both MFMs I have spoken with are cool with everything...in fact, one called around the time of my period just to see if I was pregnant ye (i thought that was hilarious)t. My blood pressure is great without meds, back to my pre-pregnancy weight and off of coumadin. I am personally trying to wait until we find out more about underlying conditions, but the treatment will be the same no matter what... so it doesn't really matter either way. I think it will just be nice to not have to try and prevent for a while. That takes a LOT more effort when you can't take hormonal birth control.

Aww that makes me smile. I have followed your story and I know all you have been through. We too are quietly kinda trying again after one more test may 10th. I am thinking happy thoughts for you,happy healthy thoughts...xoxo

Thanks Holly. I am trying really hard not to rush things and not get my hopes up, but it's just so hard not to get too excited... I want to be a mommy so badly.

Oh I hear you loud and clear. Me too so badly,I am scared I know you are too we both lost our boys. I understand as many on here do,the feelings that come with trying again after our loss. I know like you the desire to be a mommy to a baby we get to take home and love is greater then the fear of not trying again. One day at a time for us. I know we are meant to know what it's like to take our babies home,I just know it. xo

Christa I'm with you on the idea of just having fun and seeing what happens! My husband and I just started TTC this month. I bought the Taking Charge of Your Fertility book and read about charting and all of that. I decided not to do it because it just seemed too stressful. I don't need anything that would make me more obsessive about pregnancy than I am already! If I do get pregnant I will be monitored like crazy, so I'm kind of hoping to keep the TTC process as "natural" as possible! I figure that if we don't have success after several months, then I can try the charting later. Hope we both have positive news soon!
