Hello My name is shannon and i'am new to the fourm.. I have experienced pre-eclampsia in my pregnancies.. I had a stillborn in 2005 born at 23weeks..Then another in 07 also born at 23 weeks.. I want to share my miracle story with you and tell you girls please do not give up hope on having a child.. Here is my story:

i recently got pregnant in July of 2010..i was so exicited when i found out but also scared at the same time becuase of my prior losses and i knew what the road ahead would be. Well my aunt got ahold of a specialist at one of the high risk clinics for high risk pregnancies his name was *****. Went i went into see him he automatically started me on Lovenox shots and the baby aspirin and he told me " I promise you this time you will have your baby".. Well the pregnancies was going good he saw me every two weeks to watch blood pressure and swelling..Well i went in for my 5 1/2 month check-up and they found protein in my urine. My doctor immeditaly admitted me to the hospital that day i was kinda bummed becuase it was right of the week of christmas.. I was in the hospital for 4 weeks which got me to 26 + 3 days.. Well on January 7 the doctor came in and said "Shannon its time your blood cultures are not looking good and the preclampsia is getting worse..I was so extremley scared..they begin to induce my labor but the baby was getting stressed so they had to do a emergency c-section.. When i woke up from the c-section at 2:00am the nurse said "Ms Henderson if you look to your left you can see your little girl" I was extremley happy..She weighed 1pd 8ozs and was in the NICU from Jan 8-May 11..It was a very long hard tough road and stays in the NICU..But now my little angel Kalynn is weighing 12pds 5ozs, She is still on her NG feeding tube but just to have her here alive is a miracle.. And i just want to tell you ladies please please do not give up hope. Ask your doctors about the Lovenox shots and the baby aspirins and to see a genetic counslor.. And for the ladies that live close to Indianapolis, Indiana..**** is the best high risk doctor ever.. So once again ladies do not give up hope!!
