HI tina!
I have hypothyroidism, was diagnosed just before getting pg back in jan 2003. I have heard from many areas of the medical community that there are several different "normal" ranges depending on the lab you go to. It is mostly diagnosed through actual symptoms when you see an endocrinologist, but I wouldn't bet on it from your general practictioner. even while I am medicated right now, I still have a lot of sypmtoms like the fatigue, hair loss, inability to lose wt, headaches...etc etc. I am seeing an reproductive endocrinologist, since I also have long cyles and very late ovulation, long painful periods...ugh..other issues that come from hypothyroidism.
see if your general doc can send you to an endocrinologist to be fully diagnosed, and let them know the symptoms you have because it could still be something else.
