I'm sure it is. From what I understand, stress can delay ovulation, which in turn, lengthens your cycle due to the luteal phase being on average 14 days or so. Correct me if I'm wrong ladies... Anyway, my sister had a 41 day cycle one time during tax season... She's an accountant. So I think stress can definitely play a roll.

BTW, I still have no period yet, and tomorrow it will be 37 days for me. Definitely not pregnant, however (had to do an HCG test before my surgery). I just got off the pill last month so I suppose my cycles are going to be weird for a while.

Well, good ole Aunt Flo showed up this morning. So that makes my last cycle 35-36 days (can't remember exactly). So I am hoping that it was all due to stress.

So, how much longer should I keep you in suspense? Just kidding! I did a pg test this morning....it was negative. Now I just have to wonder about this long cycle. I have been under quite a bit of stress lately. There have been sooooo many things going on in my family, dh's family, and at church. I am really stressed out these days, so that is probably what is throwing everything off. I actually just got back from a funeral, which is why I have not posted today. [:(] I guess now I will just wait and see when the good ole visitor shows up. It is ladies night out tonight, so that should be a great break from everything. Thanks for all your support and concern.

Well, have you done a pg test yet Amanda? I'm with the other ladies and do one just in case.[;)] Are you charting, using OPK, or anything? I've been doing the OPK since last month, and last month I was right on datewise, but this month is a different story.[:D]

Good luck to you!! Hopefully we can be pg-buddies!

Amanda,
I'm with Julie, I would have taken at least one, if not two PG tests by now. Hopefully, you really are PG and not just late, that would be great!

Hey Amanda,
Don't fret just yet. I think that just because you aren't every 28 days, that doesn't mean that you will have trouble when you are ready to TTC. My cycles were anywhere from 29-34 days, and it was NOOOO problem for me to get pregnant. You'll just have to continue to BD every other day for a little longer period of time due to a later ovulation. So don't stress! And who knows, maybe you already are preggars....
