Preemie clothes in Phoenix

Oh forgot to say that my hospital has a very linited supply of preemie diapers. Sara dropped to 5lbs in 3 days and when she was readmitted to the hospital for jaundice they were scrounging for preemie diapers. No nicu there and babies born there are typically full term healthy infants. Ones that are small are usually the ones that have no chance for survival (otherwise the moms are shipped to a hospital that has a NICU). They ended up pulling the velcro around Sara too. LOL

I'm a little late getting in on this, but one quick thing to add:

In the case of micropreemies, there are (in my experience) practically NO clothes out there that fit when they first begin to wear clothes. My DS had about 4 outfits we had to rotate, and they were all made by Gerber.......they were just onesies, but labeled "preemie" and they really were, as opposed to other preemie clothes I saw that would have swallowed Ethan up..........you could have put 3 or 4 of him into some of them, LOL. But, those onesies really fit and we just kept washing them and bringing them back in for him to wear over and over. Just a thought for anyone who may need something that small. [:)]

Sorry this is a little behind for the topic! But I actually got most of my premmie clothes at Carters and Childrens place. Childrens place actually had PJ's that fit my son still a little big on him but nothing like the other premmie clothes.! target also though. Carters had some button up ones that my son could actually wear in the NICU when he was hooked up to a lot of the machines.
