This forum has been kind of quiet lately. I'm relatively new to preeclampsia.org but I've found the site to be very helpful and informative. I was just wondering how many people here live in the LA area like I do.

Hey!

Sorry that I am late to seeing this. Computer troubles have kept me quiet this past week and probably for the next one as well...

My names is Julie and I'm the Group Coordinator for Southern CA. I'm about an hour and a half north of the LA area.

There are a great group of women here in Southern CA, the only unfortunate thing is that we're all so spread out. Makes it hard to get together.

We will be having a fundraising Walk A Thon up in Santa Barbara on Saturday, May 20th. I'll be posting details here very soon. I'm hoping that several members will be able to make it to the walk, it would be wonderful if you could join us. It is always so nice to put faces to names and the support is incredible.

Thanks for the replies. Life is so busy this time of year -- everyone is recovering from the ongoing holidays.

I'm hoping to make it to the Walk-A-Thon but there is a distinct possibility that we'll be out of town during that time. Do the SoCal ladies ever get together for lunch of coffee?

I am in the LA area too (Thousand Oaks actually). I hope to make it to the Walk in Santa Barbara too. If we all don't make it to the Walk, hopefully we can get together sometime.
