I Live In Central California....(Salinas to be exact) i see that no one has been on for a while....well im new here and i would like to chat with other women who have had preeclampsia

Hello Ms. Monique,

Welcome! I am originally from central CA (Modesto) but now live in San Diego. My son was born in 2004 at 32 weeks via emergent c-section and was 3lbs. 7ozs. as well! We have a few bay area members that come on now and then and have one bay area member who is trying to get a walk-a-thon started in her area. If you are interested, let me know. We have had a lot of Northern CA interest starting Promise Walks in the past year, but no takers on starting a walk. I would like to offer support and guidance on how you can start a Promise Walk in your area. I am from Northern CA and now live in San Diego. I have coordinated the San Diego walk for the past three years and am the 2010-11 Promise Walk Director.

Of course I will help anyone start the planning process in your area, regardless of where you are in CA or any other state for that matter.

I am 5 hours north of San Fran in McKinleyville CA which is near Eureka/Arcata. I'm reeeallly north... very isolated up here.
