Hi Kris- I just got back online after moving to South Windsor, CT and saw your posting. I just spoke to someone about starting a chapter in CT. I have been doing lots of thinking about support/fundraisers/education, etc. Would you like to be a part of that? [:)]

Hi Kim- I would love some help. It may be a couple of weeks as the contact person is away on vacation, but as soon as I find out the details of how to get things rolling I will send you an email. Thanks so much for responding- its nice to know there are others nearby that I will eventually have a chance to get together with!

Sorry it has been a while since I came on the board. Funny that you are in S. Windsor I am in E. Windsor one weekend a month with my Army Reserve unit and used to commute up here from work. I live in Uncasville (town of Montville) so I'm about an hour from you.

Kim we aren't far at all either. My husband's grandparents live in Shelton. I would LOVE to get together, help out in any way. Sometimes it would be nice to just share with someone who has been through what we all have.

Best way to reach me is my regular email...I check both addresses listed every day.

Hi Mary- Thanks for offering! Things seem to be heading in the right direction, just moving rather slowly. It has been a lot of phone tag with the powers that be, and I am awaiting a packet that will contain info to get started and lists of people in the area. I am in S Windsor- not too far. I would prefer a CT group, but they are suggesting NE given the size of the states. We shall see.

Kris- I haven't checked in to see your posting- sorry!!! I would love to get together sometime. I will email you soon.
