I'm not sure who we have in your area. Hopefully someone will pop in. I know Blythe is in Kentucky, but not sure where. Please check out our Parents of Preemies forum for support as well. It can be a rough ride.

Hi, I am from Grayson county! It is roughly about 45 minutes from where I live to bowling green! How are things going so far?

So glad to hear things are pretty good! Sry about your BP..I am having some issues with mine currently too--but we are expecting agian--so...Family.....love them to death...but ohhh myyyy!!! When my son was born, we told everyone to simply stay away! I know that sounds really harsh, but it was what we felt was safest and best for all of us! We spent about 6 weeks in the NICU ao we decided when he got out we need family time of our own anyway! This was nice, it lasted about a week! We didn't take him out of the house until he was at least 5 months old roughly (except for dr. appot. which killed me) I was so scard of all the germs he would be exposed to! We finally let family start visiting, but we had to simply be firm and tell them how it HAD to be---it was hard--and I felt like a jerk sometimes, but I wouldn't change it for the world today, I still feel it was the best approach!!!

Hang in there hun, I know it is tough right now, but with each day your little one is growing and becoming so much more stronger! Be firm with your family if you need to and tell them "hey--love ya guys, but I need you to understand this is what we NEED, really need right now! They should understand! :) How old is you little one now! Boy or girl!

she's a girl and 22 days old, she was born 5 weeks early and was in NICU for 5 days.... They said she was very strong and healthy.... she didn't need to go in the incubator at all...

awwww...a little girl :) We are expecting a little girl and are naming her Alaina! It is great your daughter is doing so good..that is always a good thing :) If you have any questions about having a preemie home feel free to ask! Cj, my son, was born at 29 weeks and spent about 6 weeks in the NICU..then of course we had all the preemie issues to face when we got home...he is now 2 and doing wonderful..so again...if you have questions or just need someone to talk to let me know! Godd luck with your little one...they are so wonderful!
