Last minute Boston trip

Last minute Boston trip

Postby annegarrett » Fri Jan 07, 2005 12:37 am

I will be in Boston next weekend (Saturday the 15/16) being interviewed on WBZ Saturday evening. Hopefully the author of the recent study, Dr. Ananth Karumanchi, will be joining me. The show is scheduled for 9 or 10 p.m. (not firmed up yet) for an hour.

Sunday the 16th I would be interested in meeting local Preeclampsia Foundation volunteers, and anyone else interested in learning more about us at noon in Cambridge, MA. I believe there is still an Au Bon Pan near the T-stop but someone correct me (and my spelling) if I am wrong. Let's say noon, the 16th, there.

Please post if you are interested in meeting up so I can know who to look for. My flight back is at 5:00 so I have to head back to the airport at 2:30/3:00.

Take care and see you soon!

I am not far away, just about two hours in CT. I will check with the dh and see if we have anything planned ( I suspect not). I'm a STRONG maybe.

I live just outside of Hartford which is a couple of hours away too, but I would love to meet up. I might be able to swing it- I think DH is free that day.

Maybe I can send an email to the CT group and we can have ourselves a little diva carpool! Hope to see you and good luck with the interview!

Let's meet at the Harvard Square T-Station by "Out of Town Books" (which is just at the top of the stairs) at noon. All readers (posters and lurkers alike) are welcome to meet us there and we will walk to the closest Au Bon Pain for coffee and brunch. (No host, fyi)

Don't forget to tune in Saturday night!

If you are in the broadcast area--tune into WBZ AM 10.30 Saturday January 15 at 9 PM--the Lovell Dyett show. It will be a live call-in show for an hour. Feel free to call in! for more information about the show, check out their link at www.wbz.com. I will see if Eleni and Ileana can figure out a way to get a recording of the show for a link on the webpage.

Jennifer,
If you are definitly going and still want to carpool, I can drive up your way. I would probably rather not drive up myself. Let me know!
