So sorry for your loss. It is something that no parent should have to experience. Are you the L. Nickson that just signed up as a volunteer? I've connected you with Stephanie Steiner, the Cranford, NJ Promise Walk coordinator, who I know would love to talk to you about your experience and help you create hope out of your loss.

I lost my daughter, Charlotte Nicole, on 9.7.14 after I developed "severe, atypical preeclampsia" at 19 weeks 5/7 days pregnant. I was induced at 20 weeks 2/7 days because my lungs had filled with fluid, BPs wouldn't drop below 200/100, kidneys were not functioning properly, not enough oxygen in my blood...and probably more. My body was shutting down on me and docs told me I no longer had a choice about terminating, it had to be done to save my life. I'm still new in the grief process and could use some support.
