Candle Fundraiser

Hi All –
For those of you who do not know Molly and I did a candle fundraiser January 21 - February 1, 2006 with Jennifer’s super scented candles. The fundraiser was very easy and profitable, plus the candles were a big hit and they smelled great! I have already had people come up me and ask me when I will be selling them again. I think this is something that we would like to do every year. We sold the following:

1. 16oz soy based candle - $11.00 per candle and $4.50 of that went to the foundation for the walk.
2. Candle Cappers - $3.00 per capper and $2.00 of that went to the foundation for the walk.
3. Antique Jar Lamps - $24.50 for 1 quart and $32.50 for 2 quart – and $12.00 - $14.00 went to the foundation for the walk.

We made a total of $750.00 profit to go towards our walk. To date this has been one of the easiest most profitable fundraisers I have done. For just selling these a little over two weeks I feel that we did a great job and would encourage others into looking at doing a candle fundraiser.
