Pennsylvania is once again taking a "swing" toward raising awareness and funds in support of the Preeclampsia Foundation mission!
2007 Charity Golf Scramble
to benefit PF
Monday, September 24, 2007-male and female golfers of all skill levels invited-
Bella Vista Golf Course, Gilbertsville, PA
shotgun start at 9 a.m.
BBQ lunch following

~ hole-in-one 2008 new car prize
~ additional hole-in-one prizes (golf vacation, Nike drivers, etc)
~ closest to pin, longest drive contests
~ free t-shirt and gift bag for each golfer
~ raffle and auction items (including products from Crayola, Gore-TEX, sports team memorabilia, gift baskets, free golf rounds, dining gift certificates, and more)
~ possible "beat the LPGA pro" contest (pending sponsorship)
~ free Blood Pressure reading

Even if you don't golf, you can still help in the following ways:

1. spread the word to family, friends and co-workers about the event and recruit golfers
2. recommend your business/company as a potential sponsor (great advertising for new or long-established businesses)
3. donate a raffle item (are you a vendor, or work for a store who could provide a theme basket, gift certificate, or product?)
4. collect monetary donations in support of the event to directly benefit PF
5. sign on to help the day of the event

Volunteer help is still needed to complete simple, yet important tasks for the golf tourney scheduled at the end of this month.

Golfers still needed. Please consider if you, a co-worker, or friend can join in and play one last round of golf this season for charity (it's a beautiful course)!

Donations are still needed to enhance our raffle. Are you able to donate $25-50 toward a gift certificate that we will obtain locally - or provide an item (basket, gift, service, certificate, etc).

Local person who has experienced preeclampsia needed to briefly share their story with the participants (2-4 mins. on the morning of Sept 24th - do not need to stay for whole event).
