Brochures

How is everyone doing on brochures? Anyone sent any out yet? Advice, tips? Response from medical professionals?

My update: I saw my OB last week and he stated the office would be ordering brochures. I sent out 15 packets over the last month, and sent out 10 more yesterday. I did some internet searches on clinics & hospitals in the upper half of WI and came up with a list about 80 more places! I believe we do not have anyone in the upper half of the state working on these besides me, so I've got some territory to cover.

On the brochure front....hmmm. I got one of our local Madison hospitals to allow us to post our brochures in their brand new NICU. However...I don't think that is the perfect place for them. But maybe they can benefit those moms who may experience post partum PE, and maybe the PE preemie moms will catch the POP forum. It's a start! I'm hoping we can use that to legitimize us for other even more important venues. I officially got rejected to have a booth at the NICU grand opening, only because they did not want to offend their large sponsors/contributors that raised money to build the NICU. But I will be at the opening and have plenty of handouts with me ;-)

That stinks Kara. That is great you are able to be the opening, I know how excited you are for this!

Very excited, as I expect to need their services at some point in the near future (not that near, mind you). They will now have private rooms with lovely furnishings so that you can stay with baby overnight and as often as you want. And it will bring a more quiet and peaceful environment for the babies. :-)
