Yeah! After 28 weeks I finaly get to try lowering my meds! Since losing William we had to adjust my meds several times and have been on 200 mg atenalol, 160 mg lasix (yes - I live in the bathroom), 10 mg lisinopril and of course potassium! Went to the dr today and was ready to ask to have it lowered because my readings at home have been 120/80 for the highs and as low as 97/67. The nurse got 130/90 so that burst my bubble a bit - but the dr retook it at got 110/70 so we get to cut it all in half! Just have to watch it and make sure it doesn't start creeping back up. I also had her do some bloodwork because they haven't check the liver function since I was in the hospital and I remember seeing people talking about their cholesterol going up after pe so having her check that out as well.
