Hi all. I am so impressed with this forum, and I am excited to be a part of it.
My name is Rachel. Almost 6 years ago, I delivered my baby at 29 weeks and was diagonosed with HELLP syndrome. As you all can relate, it was a very traumatic experience for me and my husband. My daughter weighed 2.5 pounds. Fortunately, she didn't have any problems and is now a very healthy and active soon to be six-year-old. She is the joy of my life, and I thank God everyday for giving her to me.
I would like to have another baby, but I am scared. I would like to do everything possible to prevent getting HELLP again in my next pregnancy. For those of you that have had more babies after HELLP, do you recommend a high risk doctor? Do you know how I can go about finding a doctor in my area that has experience with HELLP?
Any other recommendations would be great. Thanks for your help.
