I had HELLP postpartum and know that with a subsequent pregnancy if you get it again it "usually" isn't as bad the later on in pregnancy you had it. What does that say about postpartum HELLP? Is that good news for us or not really anything? It seems as if I am trying to make sense out of something that is so bewildering to even the best specialists.

Well HELLP is HELLP no matter what time frame you had it PP or during pregnancy. You should be tested for any underlyig conditions such as clotting disorders. I would also see what your Vit D, cholesterol and thyroid comes back as as well.

Yes, I have been tested for clotting disorders, Vit. D, cholesterol and thyroid all being fine. Is there anything else to test for?
