It has been just over a year since my second run in with Pre-E and HELLP. I saw my OB the other day and he told me how lucky I was I said I know and commented on how well my daughter is doing he said no YOU are luck. It really made me think, was I really that bad? I always saw it from my LO point of view. I know it had to be bad because the did a C-section with my second pregnancy (with my B/P only slightly elevated, My liver enzems where not elevated but I had the liver pain) at 27 weeks. My sond onset was very sudden.
I just can't stop thinking about it. I have not been tested for any underlying disorders but am I really OK as long as I don't get pregnant again.
My Son was born at 36 weeks and is completely normal, My daughter was born at 27 weeks 1lb 8oz, IUGR she spent 80 days in the NICU. She is now 1 and doing good. She has recently been diagnosed with reactive airway disease and is a little behind but is expected to catch up at 2 or 3.

I feel lucky myself. Thinking about what-ifs are definitely scary, but it helps me be more thankful and appreciative of the positive things in life.

I'm glad to hear your daughter is doing well.
