Just a quick comment for those who may not know - our Promise Walks begin this weekend and will be rolling out across the country throughout the month of May.

May is Preeclampsia Awareness Month, and many walks are scheduled on Mother's Day.

This weekend there will be a walk TODAY in Lehigh Valley, PA, and tomorrow there are walks in San Jose, Boston, and San Diego (over 100 ACOG members will be at the 5K here!)

For more information, see http://www.promisewalk.org - we have a map of all the scheduled walks, profile pics for your Facebook page, tweets for your Twitter stream, and more to help you raise awareness of this devastating condition. The best tool in our toolbox right now is maternal familiarity with the symptoms, which is correlated with dramatically better outcomes for mother and child.
