Charlotte WAT

I saw that there was a WAT being planned in Charlotte. I was a co-coordinator of the Toledo OH WAT last year, and although I don't think I can accept that much responsibility this year, I am now in Charlotte and would love to be a part of the walk and help in any way I can. Can I get the info on the members currently involved in the Charlotte WAT?

And I might be interested in coming as well, even if it's just to walk. I live between 3-4 hours away, but I don't believe there's any WAT any closer than Charlotte, so if I'm doing one, this might be it. I'll look for the same info (who to contact etc) and then get with them about more details. Thanks!

Hi guys - I have been planning the WAT in Charlotte -- however, I just emailed Jaime - as I found out late last week, that we will most likely be moving by the end of the school year, if not sooner.....we've only been here 5 months now......very bummed......

I think Charlotte would do well by this and it is unfortunate.....maybe one of you can put one together next year....here's hoping where ever we move, has one, or is open to one also.

As you can see Betsy will be moving. The only other walk being planned is in Holly Hill, SC.

Yes, but.........I emailed the person in charge of that walk (I think her name is Jennifer too) a WHILE back and never heard any response at all. I wanted to volunteer to help, or at least sign up to walk, and I never have heard anything about it.

Holly Hill is about a 30 minute drive from here for me, but it would be about 3-4 hours for you, Wendy. It's a tiny town, rural, etc. Anyway, I'd love to be involved, if we could confirm that it is taking place and how to contact the leader(s). THanks to anyone who has that kind of info.
