C'mon San Diegans!!

I'll be roughly 2 months postpartum on May 7th and I also have my toddler...I just can't commit to taking a large role in getting the San Diego walk off the ground between now and then, but if someone else will, possibly I can help a bit (depending on how the sleep deprivation affects me in those early weeks)...

Hi Walk-a-thoners[:)]

I was curious what stage everyone was at with planning the walk? Im still finding a route/area for the walk...May is a VERY popular month in West Michigan for walks!

This is planning my first walk, and I do have help from a friend who has planned walk-a-thons before, but any tips are greatly appreciated!

Sandy, I'll be there for the San Diego walk-a-thon. I just have too much else on my PF plate right now to do the up-front coordination. Shoot, we can just grab our friends and walk the boardwalk with t-shirts on, right?

You of all people certainly do NOT have the extra time to squeeze to get the San Diego effort off the ground, with everything else you're doing for it on a nationwide level. Thrilled you'll be out there walking.

In addition to myself and yourself, I see potentially 4 others who could be up for walking, and we can also ask Leah to get in touch w/the HELLP Syndrome survivors to ask if they'd walk...

I think we can gather up a good turnout for SD, yet we need someone who will not be newly postpartum or already playing a huge role in the event to help coordinate it in SD...
