I received word today that the Braves are sending me something! Not sure what it is, but I'll be checking my mailbox eagerly over the next couple of days.

We received our item from the AZ Diamondbacks! They sent over a signed ball that we will use as a give-a-away. It'll be fun to have a prize at the end of the WAT!

Thanks Jaime, I was hoping for that response...I want to put our team on for the same reason you said, but didn't know if there was a standard for deciding who goes on. Anyway, I'll be adding them :)
again, thanks

Hi Dawn,

We are going to list the Minnesota Twins because I think it adds credibility to our event to have a recognized organization supporting the WAT.

for those of you who have secured items from teams, are you listing the Team organization on your T-shirt as a sponsor? I didn't promise this, and they didn't provide a sum of $, just a load (about 70) of tickets along with memorabelia. Just checking...

Just spoke to the Community Relations Manager for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He said that we meet the criteria for a donation and should definately receive a donation of some sort. He is still sorting through the "hundreds" of requests for April and was unable to confirm a specific item.

We will recieve word on a specific item by mid-April!!

Thank you Alli! I never would have done this if it weren't for your encouragement.

Just connected with the asst. Gen Mgr. of the Reading Phillies baseball team (played college ball with my husband) and WOW...his wife is just entering the blood pressure and urine ranges for PreE!

He had some questions regarding our personal experience, and in the end he is making a personal donation to support the walk-a-thon in addition to sending me (on behalf of the team organization) team memorabelia AND 72 un-dated tickets to attend any games this season! What a give-away!

thanks again to Alli for her suggestions and support in this area!!
