Make sure to visit http://hometown.aol.com/hellp1995/ and click the "About Us" link at the bottom of the page to contact the HELLP Society member in your state if you are planning a walk. Once you have the walk established they may be able to send an email/notice to the registered members to see if they want to take part in the walk-a-thon. (Joanne W. who is planning the Horsham/Philly walk mentioned this to me). As we know many who have had HELLP have had some form of pe.

I just wanted to re-address this idea. I just (finally!!) contacted my local HELLP representative and they are very enthusiastic about helping us in promoting the WAT. If you have not yet contacted your local HELLP rep, visit this website and you can email the contact in your area. I encourage you to email them the WAT registration brochure and invite them to participate!
