Jumpin-Jo (Joanne) and I found an alternate site in PA that we think is the best...only requires a $200 security deposit (credit card basically) and if we have up to 50 ppl (though we hope more) only $100 rental fee...it is a great park with a 1 mile hike and comes with plenty of scenary, parking, and a pavilion with talbes, water, electricity, and place for banner. Down side is we can't confirm it until 1 March (city schools get first dibs until end of Feb then its open season). Overall...we'll be able to get donations and walkers before hand. Getting very exciting.[:D]

p.s. for those of you whose site (like this one) doesn't allow dj's, radio stations, etc..contact the local or even town paper to see if they can have a reporter/writer come out and do an article. There are so many possibilites!!!

Kim...I was going to bring it up at our Feb 25th chat...a bit too much for me to plan a walk in CT and I have lots of family/friends in PA/NJ so myself, Joanne (PA) and Melissa (NJ) are planning a walk together in PA. Right now we hope to get a park in the Upper Dublin/Horsham, PA area. Once we do, we can give you details on getting donations, walk registration, etc.
