I think we just should be very gracious and thankful for whatever people can and are willing to give. If that means you raise $100 but no one walks--that is still a lot more than we had yesterday!
Thanks!!!

Re : Levels of Sponsorship???
I am getting a lot of people who would rather just donate money and not walk. Anyone else running into that??? It's great to get the money of course, but I'm afraid I won't have many walkers and therefore a rather blah event. People are being super generous, especially from the sponsorship end - donating at $200 a pop - but don't want to walk....

Re : Levels of Sponsorship???
Hey Rachel! I need to wait until Doug's team plays that team to get him to run over and ask for the ball. I'm not sure when that will be, but you'll have it before March is over. Things are crazy here. This is our busiest time of the year as a family. Just trying to squeeze it all in. Hope things continue to go well for you! Keep us posted!

Alli,
As we say down here in the south...darn tootin'. I was blown away by their willingness to help! Makes me proud to be from Hope!
How are things going for you? As if I really need to ask!
How are things coming with the autographed baseball?

I'll ask Jaime about that. Thanks so much!
Hey Rachel! I heard earlier about your cheerleaders! That's awesome! It doesn't suprise me about your town chipping in...I swear it has some of the nicest people I've ever met there.

Re : Levels of Sponsorship???
Alli,
Hey girl! I have the same question. I am not being charged a dime for the walk site. The city is not charging for the walk and our local police department is "supervising" and trafficing local streets for our walk -- ALL FOR N-O-T-H-I-N-G!
I am not asking for too little (probably too much), as assuredly the foundation can use the "leftovers" to cover the added burden of additional expenses of other walks. Especially those being required to pay all the extra fees. Am I right?
Thanks,

Re : Levels of Sponsorship???
I would think that the amount you want to ask for will cover any fees you might have with your site, that is if you have any. Other than that, Jaime might be able to give your more info regarding where the money will eventually go after the walk.

Levels of Sponsorship???
Anyone else getting that question? What should we tell them? How much should we ask for? The Mudhens are asking me this question. They're already doing a ton for us, but I asked for a ton +1 (I figured it couldn't hurt to ask). It sounds like they're willing to give a cash donation for sponsorship[:D], so what do I tell them?
