You did a great job, Alissa! Don't forget that money (which
is important for our cause) isn't everything. You created
awareness which is VERY important. [:D]

Hugs to you!

Well the brat fry is over-and we could have had MUCH better weather! This morning it was snowing!!! The entire day the temp went between 38 and 41 degrees with periods of snow and sleet and very windy. So we were outside and very cold. There was also a brat fry at the same grocery store yesterday and every weekend this month is going to have a brat fry. There are also a lot of communions and confirmation parties today. All of the brats, hamburgers, buns, ketchup, mustard, cheese, onions and soda cost us $171 which was paid at the end of the fry. Our profit for today was $98. I was a little disappointed with that but after I thought about the weather and other parties not to mention a brat fry at the same place yesterday I don't think we did too bad. I also got another walker registered at the brat fry and several others who wanted to think it over. I don't think it went too bad considering the weather and such. I am hoping that the next time we do this it will be a much nicer day and a better time of the month so we don't have such competition for the brat fry-who wants to buy a brat when they had one yesterday?

Well the brat fry is tomorrow and I hope the weather cooperates for a little bit at least. It will be from 10:30-2:30 so hopefully we hit the church crowd pretty hard. I will keep you updated as to how it goes.

Thanks Denise, I sure feel like I am not doing much! But then I tell myself that everything, every little bit helps and that tends to keep me motivated. I look forward to the next few years to see how the walk develops and changes.
