I am soooo bummed!! I was looking forward to you joining the team. I'm glad that you're not giving up on the walkathon, though.

After learning about the responsibilties of a coordiantor, I have decided to hold off on it for a year and focus on the walkathon. We will get this thing going, don't worry. We have alot of determined people up here!

I am still working things out. I hope that I can become a coordinator. So far my mother has done a wonderful job of recruiting volunteers and participants already. Right now I am trying to work with her to solidify ideas and things. Right now next years walk is in its infancy, but with the show of force we have so far, hopefully things will get going here.

I'll send you the e-mail address for Carol Hamilton, who is the National Group Coordinator. What you'd have to do is e-mail her and let her know who you are and that you'd like to be the area coordinator for the Central New York. Then the two of you will arrange a time to speak on the phone about it. Basically, she goes over what the PF is working on and what they hope to achieve. She's a great person, so you won't have any problems with that.

I look forward to working with you, Amy!! You and your mom!!

Once again I will say this, Amy, I love your spirit and drive for the cause!! Would you possibly be interested in becoming an area coordinator the Central New York? I'd love to have you aboard. Think about it and let me know cause we have quite a few registered members in your area.

my mother and I have talked. We are serious, as my mother said, serious as a "Heart attack" about this. We want to plan a Central New York, Upstate, Mohawk valley Preeclampsia Walk for May 13,2006, on Sarah's angel day. We will make this work.

I'd love to work something out with you to get a walkathon going. I'm not sure whether or not I will be participating directly in the walkathon for next year, (by walking), as dh and I are hoping to add to our family next year. We'll be ttc soon!! Anyways, I am hoping to get a walkathon going somewhere in the state. Feel free to e-mail if you'd like to discuss it some more. Also, I'm not sure if I have you on my e-mail list for NYS. Let me know if you'd like to be added. Talk to you soon!!
