Antibiotics shouldn't affect your cycle at all; they don't mess with your hormones. So sit back and chart away!

I hope you get well soon...bronchitis is ucky! *sterilized hugs*

thanks girls! i also put in a question at FF. i don't think its anything. I did find somewhere that hypothryoidism can do it, and I've got that but I am medicated and it was just checked last week. So, no idea why so low. I woke up later today at 6:45am and it was 96.2. Guess I'm just a chilly person! LOL It could also be the bp meds or one of the others..who knows!

Hi Elizabeth,
I finally O'd on CD 23 this cycle (and last cycle, too it looks like). My waking temps before O'ing hovered around 97.3-97.5. Now that I've O'ed, they're hitting 98.0.

Good luck to you this month!!

Elizabeth - my waking temps at 6:30 am hover around 97. According to Taking Charge of Your Fertility, body basal temps will go up the longer you sleep, which is why they recommend taking your temp the same time every day. I have no idea why it goes up later in the morning, just that it does.

I am CD 13, and waiting hopefully...

some questions...

Postby 5thtymachrm » Tue Jun 29, 2004 07:16 pm

Okay I am CD 14, no O yet [:)]

hi there...okay so most things have cleared up now[:D]though I am on antibiotics for bronchitis now[:o)](could I just get through one month w/o antibio's??) I am not sure how this will affect my cycle, anyone know? the spotting stopped on saturday[:D]thank goodness!

on charting...what is everyone's "normal" waking temp during pre-O?
I am just wondering because mine seems to be so much lower than anyones than the ones you can reference on fertility friend. If I take my temp at 545am, my usual waking time, I am normally at 95.4-96.0. So, I changed my wake up time to 6:15-6:30am and the temps get up to 96.4. Is this unusual? and if it is...why does it do that?
