I am very sorry for you and your wife - for the loss of your child. It is a horrible and very sad thing that has happened to your family.

To answer your latest question, Yes. There are people who lose the first and then go on to have another child that lives. I'm hoping to do that now myself.

Right now, though, just do your best to be well and be there for each other. Grieving this child will take time. The PF will be here to support you.

Thank you all for you great support and we are now trying to get ourselves comfortable with the situation.
Does any one have experience or heard any news about losing 1st baby to PE but later been successful

If I hear something like that we will be more comfortable as we are planning later for another one. But for now I need to take full care of my wife as she's most important for me than anything.

Sanjay, I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my Aaron at 26 weeks due to PE. He lived for 3 hours. Everyone here is very supportive. Please take care of yourselves and allow yourselves to grieve healthfully.

Sanjay, I am so sorry for your loss. I too lost my first baby in July due to severe pe/hellp at 25 weeks. She lived 10 days. The people on this site are amazing and very supportive.

Lost my baby at 27 weeks

Postby sanjay_sg » Mon Jun 07, 638613 3:08 pm

After my wife was diagnosed with PE i've been activly taking part in Ask the Experienced forum. She was diag with PE at 24 weeks and somewhat managed this 27. But yesterday (26/05) is a bad day for us, my wife started to bleed severely and was admitted.
After a long battle Dr's brought my baby into this world through normal delivery but without life.
This is our first baby and we lost it.
Now i'm looking after my wife and hope she recovers soon. I've not told her about our babies fate because she is still having hypertension so need to wait for here to calm down.
This is the worst part in my life.
