Hello
I read on this web site that one of the conditions that may cause preeclamsia is polycystic ovaries syndrom. I do have PCO and ended up with PE . I was wondering how many ladies on this group have PCO and had PE dring their pregnancy?
Thank you
Nora

I have PCOS and am dealing with PIH right now. So far, it hasn't developed into PE and I'm hoping to avoid it as I've only got to carry 2 more weeks. Time will tell, however. My first pg was uneventful with no PIH or PE, however, my PCOS did not really kick into high gear until after DD's birth.

I had severe PE with my first, was diagnosed with PCOS after having problems with infertility trying to conceive #2, and had hypertension/low amniotic fluid with pregnancy #2.

I was diagnosed with pcos in 1995, and developed both gestational diabetes and severe pre eclampsia in my pregnancy. Ellie was born at 27wks with IUGR.
