I am in Nova Scotia. I am 24 and preg with 2nd child. Had pe in first preg and now starting again at 11 weeks already, i am 13 weeks now and going to the obs every 2 weeks.... aggghhhh... i dont know if i can do bed rest with a child already here, and he is almost 3, it is so hard, dr took me off work, and back on trandate to see how that fairs out... alot of headaches though, hubby is a paramedic so he takes my bp at home and it has been around 150-170/80-100 i dunno what will end up happening, but i am in for the long haul once again.... this is the last child we are going to have so i am in for it!!! it is all worth it in the end.....

I'm in Northern Ontario. 20.5 weeks pg with #2 and so far so good. Had severe pre-e with dd who was delivered at 31 weeks... also found out last month when I saw the OB ("officially", though I had suspected) that I also had had the beginnings of HELLP syndrome when they delivered dd (nice of them to tell me wasn't it? :) )

Hi everyone!

I'm Stephanie and live in Eastern Ontario around Kingston area. My DS is now 2 and we're starting to think about having a second- terrifying prospect. My son was born at 31 weeks and I developed severe preeclampsia at 30 weeks. They only gave me 4 days before I was induced. I have an appointment with a high-risk OB on April 13, so we'll see what he has to say and then we will make our decision.
