starting ttc in 2 weeks!

I just had to share the news, I am just totally elated! dh and I are going to start ttc once my iud is taken out on 6/23. I could've had it taken out tomorrow but I had too many other plans. I signed up on fertility friend last night and we're going to pick up the ovulation tests, a bbt thermometer, prenatals and extra folic acid this weekend!!! can you tell I'm excited.

I have no idea how many times I swore up and down that I'd never get pregnant again, that all that bedrest was just horrendous and I wasn't going to do it again. I have high hopes for the next pg because of Dr.E and now I have this great support network of friends near my home and everything is a completely different situation. I think everything is going to be just great![:D]

I've already lost the 10lbs requested by dr.E and that puts me at a grand total loss of 20lbs since April. I will continue working on it and exercising as long as I can through the pg[8D] My bp was doing wonderful down where he wanted it, the 100/60 range but in the past week it has been creeping back up into the 130-140's/90's again. I see him 2 days after the iud removal, maybe we will up one of my bp meds.

I can't wait to join the "newly pg" area[:D][:D][:D]

Good Luck Elizabeth! You have just sounded too excited lately to wait to TTC until Nov...I thought you might try sooner just because you sounded so ready. You are my inspiration! I too thought I would never have another child when I was on bedrest, but now that Luke is here and healty I think we'll have another someday too. I'm sending you lots of positive vibes.

Congratulations, Elizabeth! That is wonderful news!

Just wanted to add for you and Kim that I had my IUD taken out last week. I had it put in back in October, and have been bleeding ever since. [:0] My doc is not sure if it just wasn't put in right in the first place, or if my body just didn't "like" it. So, he took it out, and the next day the bleeding stopped -- finally! Anyway, just wanted to tell you both not to worry about it -- it was SO painless and QUICK! It took less than a minute, and I only felt a little twinge for maybe 2 seconds...NOTHING compared to getting the sucker inserted! I haven't had ANY bleeding, pain, or cramping, and I hope that you guys have it as easy as I did!

Congrats again, Elizabeth...we are all cheering for you (and your DH...[;)])!
