I don't think you rambled at all. Your post was very well written and tender.

Going to St. Louis for the weekend

Postby angelkat » Wed Mar 04, 2009 00:36 am

It's always a bitter sweet thing for me to go to St. Louis. To see all of my friends who know me so very well. To visit the roof top garden where my Katlyne took her only breaths. To have lunch with her Nurses who have become my closest and dearest friends. Just to be able to have a memorial service at our "homechurch" with all our friends and st.louie family. Thanks to the Military we have many different states families.

To be able to remember the wonderful memories I have and to treasure some memories I may have forgotten. To be able to see how much Katlyne's tree(s) have grown. Just to be able to listen to a sermon from a man who my son shares his name so proudly. Who was my saving grace and rock when Katlyne died. It's been (next month) 6 years since I last held my daughter and not a day goes by without me looking up in the sky to tell her how much I love and miss her.

thanks for letting me ramble (I do ramble so much after a horrible night in the NICU) Just makes me thankful for my boys and so very thankful for the time I was able to have with Kat.
