I just wanted to update y'all with what I have done and who I have contacted so far.

I work for AIG insurance company and I was thinking of putting together a proposal to ask them to sponsor either the get together at Jillians or/and ask them to sponsor printing the brochures for distribution at the Expo or the Medical center. I have also been talking to the minister at my church and she has agreed to let us hold our support group at the church when it gets up and running.
I thought I would let you know that I got in touch with the
woman in charge of the Baby Expo here in Houston. There are lots of
volunteer opportunities during the Expo. I also found out that the woman in charge of the Expo has a sister who had pre-eclampsia. Let me know if there is anything else I can do. I am going to get in touch with her again in January. If you want, I can start figuring out ways to raise the money. Or we can volunteer on the floor by greeting people as they arrive, we can wear our PF shirts, we could volunteer to work at the information booth and pass out brochures and maybe also get our brochure included in goody give away bags. The other thing I wa thinking of is trying to get involved with some of the child care classes people go to at the MEdical center. These are just some of the ideas I have. What do you think?

Just a bump to try to get things started down here. I have heard that we have had quite a few losses here in Houston in the Med. Center. Can we set up a Houston get together?

We do seem to have a lot of women who has died from the Houston area with extended family around there who would benefit from support--particularly during this holiday season.

We are also looking to help a Texan woman set up a golf tournament in honor of her sister. She is getting guidance on this from our friend Jaime in Minnesota. If you want to help her with this project--let me or Jaime know.
