I actually did ok with Mother's day, but her birth/death day is coming up in july, and I am starting to hit all of the medical anniversaries, like my first High bp, first diagnosis of PIH etc. So the next couple of months are going to be rough.

Well I haven't reached any yet. Mothers day was awful. 5th june will be Jonathan's due date. I don't know what I'll do that day.

Really? Not too good.

Mother's Day sucked for me. It started out fine, but I was supposed to start my next round of Clomid that day, and I found out that my OB's office forgot to call in my prescription.[}:)] I turn 39 next month, so I don't have a lot of time to waste. These are the people I rely on to help me, and they already screwed up once (they didn't send the paperwork for my ovulation test the month before, so that's another month wasted). It's really hard to stay positive when stupid things like this get in the way.

I have better days and bad days now. I'm dreading Ellie's birthday and the anniversary of her death a month later. I have taken time off work for both of those dates.

We want to try again, but I need to lose a fair amount of weight still and want to do as much as I can to minimize the risk of PE again. I was 40 2 days before Ellie was born, so I cannot afford to wait too long. I guess it is a balancing act with the timing, but I dread the same thing happening again. I had been told I was infertile, but Ellie was a happy surprise, and having been a mum to Ellie, I feel I owe it to her to try again as well.

Carol,
I can remember a few months after Katlyne's death I wanted NOTHING more than to get preg again. I hurried up and had a pre consp appt with the Peri, then the RE. (I also have to do clomid and IUI to become preg due to a tubal reversal and only one tube working LONG STORY!!) I was all ready one month with timing and everything but DH spent the extra $$ so I couldn't do the IUI. BOY, was I upsset (that really isn't the word- but you know) We had a HUGE FIGHT about it and come to find out he was really not ready to try again. After Katlyne's first Birthday I was sitting at the computer (most likely here LOL) and he said that he was already!. I hurried up and call the RE office and had clomid called in for me and then we were just so lucky to have the timing right for December. We became preg our first IUI series.

I guess what I am trying to say, is to hang in there! It will happen and maybe when your completely ready!!!!.... I'm always around on e-mail if you need anything!!!

Gossamer,

Do you have any plans for the days?... For Katlyne's birthday we had a HUGE birthday party at the NICU where she spent her life. We had people (family & Friends) to donate lulliby cassette tapes for the NICU. We had a balloon release with a balloon for each day she was alive. Afterwards, we had a HUGE cake for all the nurses in the NICU that became family.

Katlyne's angel date was another story.... I sat around and cried and cried. I don't think I had even moved from the couch that day.

Please know that we are all here for you!!!...

Sue,

Since Katlyne's death I have put on 30 extra pounds!!... I figured I never gained any weight while preg so I might as well when she was in the NICU ( No, with all the stress it was just adding on day by day).....


I never lost any weight before this preg and to date 24 weeks later I have only gained 3 pounds I told the doctor I have so much fat it's fine!!!
