Suzanne-

Hello, and welcome! That's great to hear that Hannah is doing so well. What a blessing for you and your family.

I'm glad you found us. This site is a wealth of information, and a WONDERFUL support group. I have learned and shared so much here, and I hope that you do the same.

New Pre-e and Preemie Mommy!

Hi, everyone! I just joined the site tonight. Wow-- you seem like a great group! I am the mother of Hannah, a 26 and a half weeker born due to severe pre-eclampsia. She weighed one pound, one ounce and was in the hospital almost four months. She's doing great now. She is behind in speech and gets speech therapy twice a week. My doctor said the speech delay may not even be from her prematurity. Her previous doctor had delayed referring her for tubes in her ears, although she had a constant ear infection for about a year. She could not hear and I knew it but he thought I was over reacting. Anyway, we have a wonderful doctor now who studied at the university where Hannah was born. I'm so happy to be in this group!

Suzanne
