Preemie mom

Hi! My name is Shirley and I am a sahm to Ryan. He was born almost 9 weeks early due to me having pre-eclampsia. I was hospitalized on June 19th and had him on the 23rd! He was born c section at 7:02am and weighed in at 2lbs 15ozs and 15 1/4 inches long. He is now 9 1/2 months old and weighs 18lbs and is 28 inches long. He is a very active little man and already has a vocabulary of roughly 25 words. I cant wait to meet all of you!

Hello Shirley!

I was noticing on the "about your preemie" thread that your little guy is about the same age as my Maggie. I was due Aug 23, but delivered on June 9, so they are almost the same adjusted age. That is amazing that Ryan can already say some words!! I am so glad to hear that he is progressing so well.
