I know what you mean....
We had all of our Early Intervention appts in our home. It made it nice for Aaron to use his own toys, Boppy, etc.
At his one-year neonatal update appt (back at his birth hospital), they had a developmentalist work with him and he didn't do as well. It was a sterile hospital room, unfamiliar toys, no way to be on the floor, etc.
