Re : New guy with Q's....
Dear Caryn and all,
Thank you very much for all the support and encouragement for us. There's something going on in my life for these days. Happy news is I got engaged. although I have already made my decision to try one more time for having my own baby before meeting my fiance. Bad news is my fiance doesn't know about my health situation, even he has no idea about this horrible disease. Another news is, i decided to give my birth in US, therefore saving for hospitalization there during the last 2 years. I also have already started preparing my body for the next pregnancy by having high dose of BP treatments and also a vitamin with as folic acid, calcium and iron. Please help me to contact with SMTM?

Re : New guy with Q's....
Thank you Caryn and Rosemary,
I and my hubby went to US for PE diagnostics and my second pregnancy, unfortunately because of financial inability we couldn't stay there until maturity. During the second week of gestation, my BP got increased to 150/230. However BP went down during my stay at hospital, I flew back to my country since I was afraid of dying in a foreign country/US. Here in Mongolia, medical diagnostics are pretty good. Unfortunately there's no much experience and medical care for 2.2lb infant. I also went to China and Thailand for a diagnostics. result says nothing serious expect high BP. By the way my lowest BP is now 100/150, average 110/165 highest 140/210. That makes me stressful mostly. i experienced a looot by visiting this page.
Thanks again all.

Re : New guy with Q's....
Maggy, I'm so sorry. And I'm so glad you lived.
There's no known treatment for preeclampsia except delivery. In the US 29 weekers usually survive if they get top medical care, but that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. I don't know if they have NICUs anywhere in Mongolia.
Have you been seen by a doctor who could check you for diabetes or lupus or clotting problems?
Again, I'm so sorry. This disease is awful.

jjwillie,
there's already 4 months passed since your first post here. I'm very much hoping that you now have your baby. I want to know what has happened?
I'm writing from Mongolia who had PE in my first and second pregnancies and both occasions I had G section surgeries in 29th week of gestation. Each time my infants were 0.9 kg that is 2.2 lb with no survival. PE developed with proteinuria from 26th week and I was in a bedrest at home and hospital. But PE was handled only two and half weeks with no success. after all my husband and I are divorced. Now i'm 34 and hopeless having my own baby. Bad thing is common men's culture in Mongolia is to have a family means to have their own baby. so I don't know what to do. Please share your ideas with me. Thanks all.

Whew! It looks like we avoided a scare for the time being. We went back to the Doc on Friday to confirm the GH diagnosis (high BP reading more than 6 hours apart). We were relieved to find out that her BP had fallen back to 110/62. Still not protein in the urine, blood results still negative. So, in the end, they didn't officially diagnose her with GH. But, they are keeping a close eye on her.
Thanks for all the support. I will keep you posted
