Would anyone be interested in starting a Support Group in New Jersey?

Not sure exactly where you are, but thought I'd cut in to say that although I am in PA, I live less than 5 miles from Phillipsburg, NJ. If you happen to be near there (and open to "outsiders") I might be interested.

Hi Dawn,

Outsiders..No you are not...we all need to be in it together...that's why I would love to start a group...because through experience NO ONE knows what it is like to go through a Pre Eclamptic pregnancy unless you have been through it. It is a disease that is harsh physically,emotionally, and mentally on a person. Although I have been through it before and I am ttc now...I am frightened..and need support..my dh and dr have been great but the support of a mother who has been through pre eclampsia is invaluable! I am willing to travel for meetings..I live in the Ocean County Area...how far are you from Philidelphia?

I'm an hour from Philly, but I have an aunt in OC NJ so I travel that way for fun during the summer (about 2 hours).... I too, struggle with the desire to have sibling(s) for my dd vs. the high risks that come with TTC following severe PreE. Sharing with others might help. Let me know if things come together for a group.
