WAT for Southwestern PA!!!!!!!! UPDATE

I just wanted to let everyone know that we have a walk scheduled for our area!

Saturday August 23, 2008 at the Cook Township Community Center in Stahlstown, PA.

I know that most of you don't know where Stahlstown is, but it is a small town located in the Laurel Highlands area. It is near Seven Springs Ski Resort and also near Idlewild Amusement Park. It is about an hour south east of Pittsburgh.

We just got the location finalized yesterday! I will post more info as it is available. Mark your calendars now and plan to come join us in making this a great fundraising event for PF!

I am so excited about the HUGE support you are gathering in your area! What a special way to remember your daughter! (and at the same time provide valuable benefits to the PF mission).

Just wanted to remind everyone of the opportunity to support PF this Saturday! The walk location is about an hour southeast of Pittsburgh. Please let me know if anyone wants more information or needs directions. We hope to meet some of you there!

Just got back from vacation, but wanted to wish you a wonderful day tomorrow! So glad the "western PE friends" will be there!

As I've told you Chrissy and Ryan, you are doing an amazing thing in holding this walk. I'm sure the feeling among everyone gathered with be powerful. Such a special day in rememberance of Emma.

Thanks so very much for you true dedication to this event....can't wait to hear what a success it turned out to be!!

This was AWESOME! The walk turned out wonderfully. We all had a wonderful time and Chrissy and Ryan and all their helpers did a simply amazing job. Needless to say we were late as usual and had the honor of filling in the last two available registration sheets.... yes, I'm both embarassed and ashamed.

The balloon release was so very touching and beautiful. It was a challenge to persuade Lucy and Chloe to let go but I was so relieved that they did! Lucy had to have a little weep about it, but I explained why and she was so sweet.

We also lucked out and had perfect weather.
